Car passenger receives compensation for whiplash injuries caused by a road traffic accident in Wolverhampton
Accident Circumstances: Our client was a passenger in her husbands car at the Well Lane Junction near Wednesfield in Wolverhampton, the vehicle she was in was stationery when a car failed to stop and collided with the rear of her husbands vehicle. As a result of the rear end collision our client suffered a whiplash type injury.
Our Client’s Injuries: Whiplash injury to neck and lower back, soft tissue injury to her left shoulder, anxiety and shock.
What did Hayward Baker Solicitors do to help: One of our personal injury specialists Ria Tallack took on the case on a no-win-no-fee basis and sent a letter of claim to the defendant, who admitted liability for the accident.
We arranged for our client to see General Practitioner who examined our client after which he formulated a report upon our client’s injuries and it was this report we used to prove her injuries were as a result of the accident and it helped Ria value the compensation and out of pocket expenses part the claim.
We added an amount to our client’s schedule of loss for phone calls and postage costs incurred due to the accident.
Ria negotiated a fair settlement figure for our client which she was happy to accept.
Resolution: Our client received £3,125.00 in compensation for her injuries and out of pocket expenses.
