What did Hayward Baker do to help?

Ria Tallack one of our experienced claims handlers  took on the claim on a No Win No Fee basis and submitted the case to the defendant insurers via the low value personal injury insurers claims portal.

The insures acknowledged the claim within two days and confirmed that liability was not in dispute.

This mean’t that as long as a medical report proved that our client’s injuries were as a result of the accident then they would pay compensation for his injuries.

Ria applied for copies of our client’s medical records from his GP and soon after arranged a medical appointment with a medical expert, in this matter a General Practitioner, who examined our client and formulated a report upon his injuries. It was this report that proved the injuries were as a result of the accident and would be used to value our client’s claim for compensation. The report also highlighted some out of pocket expenses our client had occurred and these were as follows:

  • Care and assistance for an our a day with washing and dressing
  • A small amount for phone calls and postage
  • Travel expenses to and form medical appointments

Once our client was happy with the medical report and schedule of out of pocket expenses he signed the relevant authorisation documents and asked Ria to settle the claim.

The claim settled for £4,515.00
