How Hayward Baker helped
This multi track case was run by one of our senior lawyers Alison Spriggs
Liability was admitted and therefore we were tasked to prove that the injuries were as a result of the accident and we did this by getting our client examined by a number of medical experts who formulated a report on our client’s injuries. It was these reports that we used to prove our client’s injuries and also to value the claim for damages (compensation for injuries) and special damages (out of pocket expenses as a result of the accident).
The expenses that our client incurred as a direct result of the accident were:
- Travel Expenses to and from medical appointments
- Loss of earnings
- Care and assistance
- Medical expenses
- Future surgery costs
Value of compensation and losses awarded
Our client was awarded damages of just over £34,000 inclusive of special damages
