Accident Circumstances: Our client was driving his vehicle along the M6 Northbound and had slowed down due to a traffic queue. However the defendant failed to stop in time and collided with the rear of our client’s vehicle. As a result of the collision our client sustained injuries.
Our Client’s Injuries: Whiplash injury to his neck, Fractured little finger with mallet deformity.
What did Hayward Baker Solicitors do to help: One of our personal injury specialists Gary Lee who is a Chartered legal Executive took on the case on a no-win-no-fee basis and sent a letter of claim to the defendant, who initially denied liability until Gary obtained evidence to prove otherwise and liability was eventually conceded by the defendant.
We arranged for our client to see a medical expert who examined our client after which they formulated a report upon our client’s injuries and it was this report we used to prove our client’s injuries and to value the claim .
We also arranged 12 sessions physiotherapy which was paid for by the defendant insurers and claimed back a sum of money for travel expenses relating to the accident.
Surgery was required for his little finger injury and this was arranged by us through the defendant insurers. A sum was also claimed for future treatment and follow up appointments.
