Our Client’s Injuries: Ligament damage to right foot. Soft tissue injury to right hand. Laceration to hand. Neck, back, elbow pain.
How Hayward Baker helped: One of our Personal Injury Specialists made the claim via the low value Accident insurer’s online portal.
The defendant’s insurer investigating the claim informed us very early in the claim that liability was admitted on behalf of their insured.
A medical report was obtained from a General Practitioner. This medical experts report was required to show that our client’s injuries were a direct result of the accident and to also aid us in valuing our client’s claim for damages.
- Travel Expenses to and from medical appointments
- Medical Expenses (Bio Oil, Dressings and Prescription Charges)

We tried to negotiate settlement with the Defendant insurers but unfortunately we could not agree a final figure. Therefore Proceedings were issued and the matter was to go to Court and let a Judge decide a figure for damages. However, having to go to Court was avoided and we did manage to settle the claim.
Resolution: We managed to negotiate settlement in the sum of £8,500.00
