Our client was travelling along the A303 near the Stonehenge roundabout in Wiltshire when the defendant failed to slow down and stop at a roundabout causing him to collide with the rear of our client’s vehicle.

As a result of thew road traffic collision our client suffered injury and loss.

Our Client’s injuries:

Whiplash/soft tissue injury to right shoulder and back plus an aggravated hip problem.

How Hayward Baker Solicitors Helped:

Hayward Baker took on this claim on a No Win No Fee basis and stated the claim to the defendant motor insurers via the online personal injury insures portal.

An acknowledgement was received from the insurers and was shortly followed by an admission of liability.

We arranged for our client to be medically examined by a General Practitioner and an Orthopaedic Surgeon who both formulated reports on our client’s injuries. These reports proved that the injuries were consistent with the material accident, a prognosis as to when our client’s in juries would resolve and the reports also helped us to value our client’s  claim for compensation.

We created a schedule of special damages (out of pocket expenses part of the claim) to include:

  • Travel Expenses to and from medical appointments
  • Physiotherapy
  • Pain killers

Once our client was happy with the medical reports and his special damages schedule he signed the authorities to release these documents to the defendant insurers along  a signed authority for us to settle his claim.

We obtained £3,726.00 in settlement of our client’s whiplash and aggravated hip claim.
