Mr C was working on some scaffolding on a building site in Southampton. As he was clearing up a mess on some scaffolding boards another workman leant on a steel beam which had been installed into wet concrete. As a result the beam fell over onto Mr C causing him injury to his knee and thigh.
Mr C had his knee in a brace while it healed and attended numerous physiotherapy to get his knee back to strength.
Mr C suffered a loss of earnings due to time off work because of his knee injury and also had reduced wages when returning to work on light duties.
Mr C instructed Hayward Baker Solicitors to fight his claim for compensation against his employers.
Mr C’s case was settled for just over £9000.00.
