Ms H entered into a contract for the provision of Intense Pulsed Light treatment which is governed by the Supply of Goods and services Act 1982. During her treatment for hair removal Ms H informed the person administering the treatment that she could feel pain but was told that this was expected and that the treatment should continue.

However following the completion of the IPL treatment Ms H had burns to her legs caused causing a hypo-pigmentation and potentially permanent discoloration of the skin.

Ms H was awarded £2000.00 I compensation for her injuries.
