How Hayward Baker Solicitors helped
Liability was not in question in this case as our client was a passenger in a vehicle involved in an accident so therefore could not be held to account. We did seek medical evidence by instructing a dental Surgeon to examine our client so we could prove our client’s injuries and get a prognosis for treatment and recovery periods. It was the medical report formulated by this expert that we used to value our client’s claim for damages.
We also drafted a schedule of special damages (out of pocket expenses) to make a claim for the following:
- Travelling expenses to and from medical appointments
- Medical Expenses
- Dental treatment
- Future dental treatment
Our client received and overall payment of £6,600.00 for damages and special damages
