Car passenger receives compensation for whiplash injuries caused by a  road traffic accident in Wales

whiplash injury caused by rear end shunt carr accidentAccident Circumstances:
Our client was travelling in his friends car along the A467 Risca bypass. There were road works on the dual carriageway and the traffic which was heavy came to an abrupt stop. Our client’s driver failed to stop in time and collided with the vehicle  in front. As a result of the collision our client sustained whiplash related injuries.

Our Client’s Injuries: Injury to neck shoulders and thoracic spine.

What did Hayward Baker Solicitors do to help: One of our personal injury specialists Angela Ansell    took on the case on a no-win-no-fee basis and sent a letter of claim to the defendant, who admitted liability for the accident.

We arranged for our client to see General Practitioner who examined our client after which he formulated a report upon our client’s injuries and it was this report we used to prove our client’s  injuries and to also help  Angela value the compensation and out of pocket expenses part the claim.

We added an amount to our client’s schedule of loss for our client’s travel expenses to and from his medical appointment.

Our client’s injuries were resolved within 6 weeks and therefore the damages claimed were quite low.

Resolution: Our client received £1,360.48 in compensation for his injuries and out of pocket expenses.
