How Hayward Baker Helped:
Gary Lee one of our personal injury claims specialists took on the case. This was agreed on a no win no fee basis and the claim was made through the low value personal in injury insurers portal
The defendant insurers investigated the claim and liability was admitted subject to medical evidence.
Medical evidence was obtained from a General Practitioner who examined our client after which he formulated a report upon our client’s injuries.
The medical report highlighted that our client also had a claim for out of pocket expenses for the following:
- Travel expenses to and from medical appointments relating to the injuries caused by the accident.
- Loss of earnings caused by time taken off work as a result of the injuries sustained in the road traffic accident
- Painkillers to ease the pain caused by his injuries
The medical evidence allowed Gary to prove that the injuries were caused by the accident and aid her in creating a schedule of out of pocket expenses (Special Damages).
Once our client had approved the medical report and his special damages schedule Gary disclosed the full claim to the Defendant insurers and negotiated settlement of our client’s claim.
Gary settled the claim in full for £2,690.19.
