Student in Birmingham injured when car collides with the rear of his vehicle

road-traffic-rear-end-collisionStudent claims damages for injuries received in an RTA in Icknield Road Birmingham.

Accident Circumstances: Our client was driving his vehicle along Icknield Road in Birmingham. As our client stopped in a queue of traffic the defendant failed to stop and collided with the rear of client’s vehicle. As ca result of the collision our client sustained a personal injury.

Our client’s injuries: Injury to neck and thoracic spine and travel anxiety.

What did Hayward Baker Solicitors do to help: One of our personal injury specialists Gary Lee who is a Chartered legal Executive took on the case on a no-win-no-fee basis and sent a letter of claim to the defendant, who admitted liability.

We arranged for our client to see a medical expert who examined our client after which they formulated a report upon our client’s injuries and it was this report we used to prove our client’s injuries and to value the claim .

We also arranged physiotherapy which was paid for by the defendant insurers and claimed back a sum of money for travel expenses relating to the accident along with other consequential losses and expenses such as phone calls and postage.

Resolution: Compensation awarded in the sum of £2600.00
