Warehouse operative injured at place of work is awarded damages of over £2,000.00

Our client was employed by the defendant as a Warehouse Operative. On the date of the accident, our client was carrying out duties in the course of his employment. Our client advises that he was moving some cages, when the delivery driver pushed a number of empty cages into the back of our client’s legs causing him to be trapped between the cages. As a result our client sustained an injury.

How Hayward Baker helped: We took on this accident at work personal injury case on a No Win No Fee basis and stated the claim via the online insurers portal.

As liability was not an issue  from the start we decided to obtain medical evidence by way of a report from an Orthopaedic Consultant. This report proved our client’s injuries and also aided us in valuing our client’s claim for compensation. The report also highlighted numerous claims for out of pocket expenses in particular travelling costs to and from medical appointments.

Conclusion: we obtained just over £2,200.00 in compensation for our client’s injuries.
