Our Client’s Injuries:
Whiplash to neck, back and shoulders.

What did Hayward Baker do to help?

Angela Ansell one of our personal injury claims specialists took on the case on a no win no fee basis and made the claim through the low value insurers road traffic accident portal.

A response from the defendant insurers came back within the time allowed for them to confirm their position and liability was conceded subject to medical evidence.

What this mean’t was as long as a medical report confirms that our client was injured as a result of the accident then the insurers would pay her compensation for her injuries.

Angela arranged for our client to be seen by a General practitioner who confirmed that our client’s injures were as a result of the accident and recommended that she saw an Orthopaedic Consultant in relation to her back pain.

Both expert reports highlighted financial losses to include travel expenses to and from appointments and prescription charges.

A course of physiotherapy was undertaken but this was under the NHS so there was no monies to be retrieved from the defendant insurers.

Once our client was happy with the medical reports and schedule of out of pocket expenses she signed the approval form and returned them to Angela.

Angela then proceeded to value our client’s claim by using the medical reports and previous case studies as a guide, she then sent the schedule of financial losses along with the medical reports to the defendant insurers inviting them to make an offer in settlement of our client’s claim.

Angela negotiated a settlement figure for both damages and losses in the sum of £4,046.80
