A team of workers from Hampshire Personal Injury Lawyers Hayward Baker, gave up to their time to volunteer as part of the UK’s biggest employee volunteering movement on Give & Gain day last Friday.
15 members of staff from the Fareham-based firm of solicitors spent Give & Gain day on Friday 24th June, decorating and refurbishing several rooms at the Hampshire Autistic Society property, Anglesey Lodge in Gosport.
This is the second year that Hayward Baker have helped out at Hampshire Autistic Society having undertaken a gardening project at one of their properties in Gosport on last year’s Give and Gain Day.
Trevor Baker, Partner of Hayward Baker said, “Give & Gain Day is a fantastic way to get involved with the community, meet new people and make a difference. Volunteering is a great experience and it’s great to get out of the office for such a worthwhile cause”.
Give & Gain Day was bigger and better this year with more participants and employers signed up than ever before. Hampshire’s volunteers were in good company, joining an international army of over 17,000 volunteers who were out and about making a positive difference in their local communities in the first year that the campaign has gone global.
