A man left disabled after being in a car accident has been awarded millions of pounds in compensation.
Nazer Ahadi was driving to work in 2006 when he was involved in a head-on collision on the A361 near Devizes.
He was treated in hospital for brain damage and medics thought that he might never have walked again.
Mr Ahadi was told by the High Court in London that his compensation claim had been successful and that he is to receive a lump sum of GBP 2.3 million.
This includes almost GBP 200,000 for his pain and suffering and GBP 145,000 every year for the rest of his life, thisiswiltshire.co.uk reports.
Earlier this month, Cambridge-news.co.uk reported that the family of a man killed in a crash on the A10 had received GBP 300,000 in car accident compensation.
Like Mr Ahadi, IT consultancy director Sean Fitt, 39, was involved in a head-on collision.
