A business heir’s fight for injury compensation is at an end after he was finally awarded GBP 1 million in damages after an eight-year court battle.
Bijan Fouladger, 38, the son of the Iranian founders of London Joggers Limited, was left with brain damage following a motorcycle crash in 2001, the London Evening Standard reports.
He suffered near-fatal head injuries which left him with difficulties in concentrating, processing information and controlling his temper after his bike crashed into a van performing a U-turn in the Blackfriars Underpass.
Mr Fouladgar told the paper: "I’m very pleased it’s over. This has been eight years of my life tied up in this.
"Now I can finally try to get on with living my life."
The conclusion of the injury compensation case follows reports in Get Surrey that a man is seeking more than £300,000 in damages after suffering spinal injuries in a head-on crash.
