Mother vows to get compensation for brain-damaged daughter

The mother of a young girl left brain damaged after she was hit by a van in Crewe has vowed to continue her fight for injury compensation.

Chloe was crossing the road on her way to school in February 2004 when a van ran into her, leading to a complete change in her personality, the Crewe Guardian reports.

The accident, which took place when she was 11 years old, left her suffering from headaches, memory loss, vomiting, loss of her sense of smell, partial loss of sight and trouble controlling her anger.

"Chloe suffers from spells where she is just completely vacant and her personality changes totally," her mother Nichola told the paper.

The family is urging any witnesses to come forward so that they can claim the injury compensation they are entitled to.

It was recently reported in the Herald Express that a Paignton man who was almost killed when a car smashed through a shop window is seeking injury compensation.ADNFCR-2070-ID-19353750-ADNFCR
