Company fined after injured worker requires amputation

Magna Exteriors (Banbury) Ltd has been fined £80,000 after a worker was struck by a falling pallet and had part of his leg amputated. The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) found the company had failed to implement a safe system of work for the worker’s task.
