Stage 1: Starting your claim

After finding the right personal injury firm to work with you, you’ll be able to start the claims process. At Hayward Baker, you can contact us in a variety of ways. Whether you choose to email, phone or use our online chat, we can start to look into your claim straight away.

If you already have details about your accident, such as the time and date of your injury and whether there were any witnesses, this will help your claim to progress quickly. If you don’t have this information to ¬≠hand, or are unsure what details are needed, we will advise you on what to do next. We will decide at this early stage whether or not your claim is likely to be successful.

Stage 2: Agent visits

Our team of dedicated Agents ensure that we make the claims process as easy as possible for you. Instead of having to come to us, we can come to you. We find the most suitable Agent and will arrange for them to meet you at a time and place that is convenient for you.

The main purpose of this visit is to verify any details you’ve given, so you will need to take ID with you. Of course, we will you tell you beforehand exactly what you’ll need to take to your visit to help your claim progress.

Stage 3: The length of a claim

Once you’ve had your Agent visit, we’ll work with you to ensure we have what’s needed to support your claim. A medical exam will also be arranged to support your claim and you will need to sign off the report before your claim can progress.

It’s important to remember that the length and value of a claim is unique to each case, and can depend on whether a claim is settled outside of court or whether it has to go through the full process.
